2013 Installation: wood and steel chains on Wood. Size: variable
NO SIGH A sterile space. Objects. Chains. Border association. Self-identification. Provocative installation artwork, addressing issues of human <-> environment <-> society system. Self-identification is a core part of the experience of the spectator. Author and audience are in similar positions in perceiving NO SIGH. The work itself functions as a "process" a provocation that takes on a subjective emotion in the act of perception. By setting up a "peculiar" space (object), an irritant, Maglov reaches the viewer at the level of the instinctual drives, increasing internal tension in the viewer.
